Our Story

James (Jim) Miller, one of the original co-founders, had been a dedicated part of the Homecare & Mobility industry since 1986. In July 2019, he passed the torch to Erik and Wendy Nielsen, a compassionate and family-driven couple who now proudly run the business.

Erik and Wendy were no strangers to the world of mobility and care. With a daughter who has Cerebral Palsy, they’ve long been advocates for accessibility, independence, and support for people with disabilities. Their personal experience brought a deep understanding and empathy to their new venture. They were both excited and grateful to learn the ins and outs of the business from Jim, whose 35+ years of expertise helped guide their transition.

Today, when you visit our store, you’re likely to be welcomed by one of our family members — whether it’s Wendy’s mother Shirlee, her sister Jenna, or Erik and Wendy’s daughter Emma. It’s truly a family-run business, and that warmth extends to every interaction.
